FINAL DAY'S IN MOZAMBIQUE

LAST STOP IN MOZAMBIQUE

So it appears I missed a stop, after Paindain we went to Island Rock Resort which was like 20km down a nice sandy road between villages, and then thick sand and popped out at the beach resort. An 75 year old Afrikaaner owns it and we were the first one's there in two years and it is a little run down as he has had no income, so sad for all these guy here, and how they made it ,I'll never know. It is all on a sand dune and very basic but had a good view of the ocean, would have stayed longer but the guy will talk a hind leg of a donkey, told me his whole life history. That's what you get for $10 a day.

SUNSET BEACH   7th April 2022
Was a 195km drive south to Sunset Beach, which had a small camping site but real nice with your little own ablutions which is always great to have and once again it was owned by an Afrikaaner and we were the only one's there for two days. It was overcast and the ocean was not good to swim in and no fisherman around so no more crayfish.
Left on 9th April to SA, Kruger Park
